Language in Which You Will Present: English

Target Audience(s): People interested in sports technology (with the application of 3D printing, electrical engineering, and Arduino)

Short Session Description (one line): Invented a wearable accessory for tennis rackets that tracks the spin placed on the ball using Adafruit sensors and programming in Arduino

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The main purpose of the project was to create a product that safely secures an accelerometer that tracks spin (while still being protective) onto a racket so that tennis players can better understand the mechanics of their swing without having to pay for a coach during leisure time or in a competitive environment. Additionally, 3D printed customized tennis dampeners (where the device is located) in order to not change the feel of the racket/how it interacts with ball.

The process of 3D printing is summarized in the powerpoint. Part of the code is demonstrated in the screenshot, the full file is through Arduino which is unable to be saved as a file.
