My meeting with Tracy Hanson

On Republic Day, 2017, our Head Master Sri Baby Thadaeus Cruz connected with Tracy. He inaugurated Next Generation Global Educationin our school. (I am a student of St. Alberts Higher Secondary School, at Ernakulam,  Kerala, India.

Ever since, my school has been very active at Cyberspace. We met Sebastian Panakal, a Wiki Facilitator who runs a project named CLASS: Connected Learning Activities through Social Service.

Our school, me and my friends jumped at the opportunity. We are now Tree Pals- a group that plant a tree in honor of each online interaction we have with friends abroad.

Our team has planted 50 saplings in honor of Finalists at Global Teacher Prize. We have transplanted the saplings to a garden at a nearby village. We plan to name the garden "Global Teacher Garden"

Tracy will land at Kochi International Airport on 4 March 2017.
