About Me:: My name is Dr. Angela Heath and I am a retired college professor with over 23 years in teaching. Nowadays, I still teach 1-2 courses a year but primarily keep up with my computer consultancy (17 years now) and with my research interests. My current research themes are adaptive online course design, instructional design for teachers, course designing for deeper student learning and engagement and teacher presence in online courses.

I come from a unique perspective in that I've been on the front lines through my teaching and for the past decade, behind the scenes working in academic publishing. I work with major publishers such as McGraw-Hill, Pearson Education and John Wiley to develop educational products for them in K-12, college and professional levels. My areas of expertise are math, computers and business but I have developed many types of courses.
