About Me:

Nick Sousanis cultivates his creative practice at the intersection of image and text. At Teachers College, Columbia University, he wrote and drew the first doctoral dissertation completed entirely in comic book form – its very form embodying its argument for the importance of visual thinking in teaching and learning. His comics have been infiltrating the academic realm through numerous publications and presentations, and he furthers his advocacy for the medium as a powerful tool for thought in the courses he developed at Teachers College and Parsons.
