- I have been the library media specialist at Bishop Gorman HS for 18 years. Prior to that, I was an English teacher.
I fought for and obtained approval for the first internet connection for our school library (and the only high-speed connection on campus, providing the only internet access for students and teachers) in 1999. I have been involved with technology at our school in and the classroom since 1993, when I purchased my first Toshiba Satellite laptop (no color screen!). When I became librarian/media specialist, I became a member of the school's new technology committee. Ever since, I have been helping teachers and students with the use of technology for teaching and learning.
