About Me:

Vidcode teaches teen girls computer programming by enabling them to customize Instagram videos with code. Users can upload their mobile videos, code their own effects, then share it with their friends. I started my career in photography & cinematography and learned computer programming in graduate school. I thought I would "just" be building websites but I fell in love with the creative power of code when I learned it could be an art form in itself. My co-founder and I were inspired to share this with teenage girls by giving them tools to create their own stop motion animations, video filters, and computer vision projects using JavaScript.
