Full Session Description (as long as you would like):  Through the session we hope to share our journey & learnings with classrooms across the world. Using examples of our work, the session aims at inspiring & guiding classrooms to collaborate & take action to protect the environment at school, home & community level.
Inspiration - While working on our project on UN SDG#11 - Sustainable Cities & Communities, we decided we should do something concrete to save the environment but it should be self sustaining.
Ideation - We came upon the idea of starting a kitchen garden while studying about vegetative propagation in science class.
Extension - To extend the kitchen garden to include other plants, we needed seeds, so we set up a food stall to sell yummies prepared using onions freshly harvested from the garden. Keeping the 3Rs in mind, all materials used for marketing and packaging the food products were made from recycled materials picked up from school.
In the process, we learnt so much - from 6th graders we turned into entrepreneurs...
