Full Session Description: Project Based Learning in a Digital/Flipped Classroom that incorporates English & Science into a learning experience that is authentic and relevant to high school students. This session will provide a description and an example of a PBL/Flipped/Digital Project that encompasses an authentic challenge from the local community that will provide students opportunity for learning from a scientific, writing, reading, and creating perspective. The lesson will follow the Six A’s of PBL, provide examples of flipped classroom tutorials, and also highlight student created presentations.
