Our goal is to inform viewers as the uses of modern computing towards the development of self-improving hardware and software.

 

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The modern world is full of competition and efforts to always be moving forward, especially in the computing world. One of the ways in which people try to do this is through the modification of existing code in order to improve the efficiency of a given task. But at what point do we reach the limit of human programming efficiency. We already use modern computing to do a large portion of menial tasks so what is there to prevent us from using this computing power to allow machines to create their own code such that it is more efficient than what is currently available? Join us as we delve through modern computing research in order to see how evolving code can be created and carried out.
