This presentation discusses how online resources (including audio-visuals, avatars, BioViews) on amazing people as role models, can be used in the classroom. Over the last decade, Educational psychologist, Dr Charles Margerison, has researched the lives of many of the world's greatest achievers. He discovered principles and methodology common to all the achievers, embodied in the concept called action learning. Brett Moffatt, educational consultant, will present a session about Dr Margerison's research, and discuss the online resources in greater depth. This session will discuss: action learning, how action learning can be incorporated into learning activities, case studies conducted, and how the principles of the world's greatest achievers can play a pivotal role in a student's learning, proactive thinking, and talent development.
