Visit report
1.Met Madam Namata had discussions with her on the areas of collaboration with Springs Alive children’s centre (SPACC).
2. Took a tour of the school, had interactions with form 5 class on storytelling and letter writing this is going to be a precursor to further relations with you.
3.School has a capacity of 390 pupils and classes range from nursery to form 7, registered with ministry of education of Uganda and is recognized as an examination centre. Please refer to the pictures of the school that I took

. 4.The school has a boarding section of a small number of students.
5.Response of the directress madam Namata was positive to our visit and is ready to take up any new collaboration ventures. We propose projects such as the laptop project which SPACC cannot readily take on given that at SPACC there is no electricity. We will need some support from you to have this effected with the laptop people in U.S. and if this can be effected then we will be having connected classes sooner than later.
6.We saw need of having to agree with Sancta Maria school on areas of collaboration with SPACC thus a need for a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) but of course with your course of action.
7.We could work closely with your participation in order to ensure collaborative projects take off with the U.S. schools you are involved in.
8.To start with, we will be using Google documents as a way of sharing some of these projects and if you are familiar with Google documents you will just need to edit the document that is stored online then save and send invites. These projects will bring on board schools in UK, India, Uganda to mention but a few, check the following links; http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0ASh4_f2jr5JmZGR6d3QzOG1fMHpxejM3bWNj&hl=en&invite=CIK5tqAG, http://docs.google.com/present/edit?id=0ATWKb4w_g6qKZGZ4cW03M3dfNDE0ZnNuenpuaHI&hl=en,http://docs.google.com/present/edit?id=0ATs6b3XF1u0kZGNqNWYyd3JfMTU4ZnRkYjJoZDI&hl=en
9.We will need to encourage blog posting, I was just wondering whether you had started a web page for sancta Maria primary school.
10.We will need to register Sancta Maria with Global gateway, the British Council programme where schools world-wide connect with each other.

Most of what am involved in is the the link i.e.http://www.change.org/springs_alive/details/about
I would also want to closely know about this project you are having with Sancta Maria Preparatory School, just in case we may need to borrow a leaf or two and as you can remember in my first communication to you,I hinted on the fact that our school, springs alive children's centre(SPACC) has some internation collaborations we are involved in,however,at our school we have not yet got the real taste of what it may take.We also have projects we want to partner with you, with international dimention.

Thanks for the response, originally I'd thought you are in Uganda.I will look out the school and get back to you with an update. Will email and call Namata, immediately I get the time to visit there.
Maybe I could ask you,is there anything particular you want me to find out about this school?
