Using 3D printing in the classroom

I attended a session 'Your 3D printed classroom: Bringing 3D printing to school project' by
Olivia Fishman (https://sas.elluminate.com/site/external/launch/dropin.jnlp?sid=200...). The speaker presented interesting information about using modern technology - 3D printing - in modern classrooms. It was amazing to see how different objects can be created using this technology.

I would like to know how many people have already used 3D printing for teaching (outside the USA). Do you think that it will be widely used in the next few years?
