Full Session Description (as long as you would like): I started learning Photoshop and Illustrator almost two years ago and during a Digital Arts class I took at my school. In the beginning, I was very interested in the art and later found a way that I could make a profit from my newly found Adobe Suite skills. There are hundreds of tutorials online that I used to enhance my skills and learn new design techniques. Then, several months ago my father, a political consultant, had to create a billboard ad for the Sheriff running for office within a short amount of time. I offered to help him. Since completing that project, I have been hired for additional work that requires graphic design skills in a variety of different areas ranging from political ads to logos for various organizations. I will share the tools and processes I use with several examples to demonstrate how others can use an interest an art and understanding of what digital tools can do to enjoy similar success. My process to bid and bill clients appropriately to enjoy profits will also be shared.
